Moths' Wings is a companion volume to the author's first book of poetry, A Mirror Moon. The poetry in Moths' Wings is meditative and explorative, raising questions about the nature of life, our relationships and our spirituality. The poems encourage a sense of wonder and an appreciation of how the natural world speaks to us and nurtures our spirits. Though this collection reflects on aspects of personal history that may cause sadness or grief and touches on the experience of depression, the poems also allow for hope and offer glimpses of light. Within our darker moments lies the possibility of transformation, of deeper perception or an increased sense of compassion.
