Are you ashamed of being British? Do you think our history is best forgotten? Did you relish Black History Month? Would you like to hear the true story of our history as it affects all of us Brits today? Are you actually black?If you are British this is your history whether you like it or not. And this is, I very much hope, a fair assessment without an axe to grind - except that I am British like you."We" are "us". Not "them" or "you". We are British whether or not you like it. And we - yes, no matter what our complexion - are British. Warts and all. PS: And we have a massive task ahead of us.
