My Children
Nina C Melius
Komi Omelko is fourteen years old. Her team, My Children 'The Children Who Danced With Joy' is going to compete in Poland's International Ballroom Tournament. They are performing the Waltz. Their theme is based on childhood memories. On the other hand, Komi was struggling with her thoughts and emotions. She couldn't reflect her joyful and timid expressions in the routine because of the incident that happened to her best friend, Tommy, who was run over by a vehicle. Practicing the choreography was her escape. However, the hidden memories of that car accident replayed in her mind as she injured herself. Just a few days before the competition, Komi is wondering will she recover in time to rejoin her friends at the tournament? Or give up her dreams as a dancer because of the loss of her dearest friend from the past.
