Aria Wells, a ten-year-old curious child goes to a bakery with her Nanny and is captivated by a cupcake she sees moving, she follows it, unknowing to her Nanny who is engrossed in a conversation with the waitress who is her friend. Aria isn't able to find the cupcake anymore but sees something even more exciting- an enchanted kitchen. She moves around, held in the charm of how the kitchen utensils and machines moved on their own accord with no one nearby. As she peers into the oven, noticing a faint light in it, she pulls a strange looking lever and is immediately sucked into the world of cupcakes, screaming and wailing till she sees how orange the world around her is. Aria is lost in the world she just arrived in but is soon captivated again as she sights, the cupcake she saw earlier, who was now as big as her, just like the rest cupcakes. The cupcake(Terese) tells her about the sickness of the royal household and how it was fast spreading by means of contact. Terese believes Aria can help them, as only she could see her (Terese) in the human world. They need to find a cure as well as a vaccine. Aria finds out that friggy, held hostage by the cake kingdom is the vaccine. Only he could save the baby cupcakes from being infected by nurturing them till they were strong enough for the world, while Terese and the other scientist cupcakes search furiously for a cure.
