Chief Lead Detective, Dan Liebenberg, stood in Room 215, the Rivonia safe secure room. In front of him was a row of empty money boxes."How much?" he asked."$1.4 million." said the General Manager of the Rivonia Golf and Casino Club."Phew," said Dan. Looking around the room, there was no obvious route of entry. "How the hell did these guys do this one?" he thought. A sudden cry rang out from down the passage and everyone left the room to investigate the call for help. In front of the door to room 215 was a chambermaid of Mexican descent with limited English, who was distressed, crying, and pointing in the direction of the room. Dan took out his gun, pushed the door open, then entered the room. He was shocked to see not one, but two dead bodies, in the same bed, their bodies covered by a blanket. Both had a single bullet through their heads and upon closer inspection, their eyeballs had been removed. He recoiled suddenly in shock. Slowly pulling back the blanket, he discovered that they were both naked, furthermore, all their fingers had been removed. His immediate thoughts that there must be some link to the $1.4 million that had been stolen and this murder scene. However, as the main suspects were dead, and they had no fingers and no eyeballs, it was going to be a challenge to identify these two bodies or to link them to the missing millions.
