Richard is a straight construction worker. A pretty basic kind of guy. A working man. Ex-wife, two boys, physical job. Not unlike so many men out there. Then the predatory cop next door did something to him in his basement. More than once. And suddenly Richard was not so basic anymore. Suddenly he and his life was getting complicated. He'd developed a taste. He'd developed a need. A need for something he'd never really considered. That dirty cop had shown him things. Did things. Now he was changing, he was evolving. Now he's getting adventurous and he's got a need. He and his wife are trying to patch things up, they've got a new house, but she's keeping her condo in the city and they're letting the boys live in the old house while they go to school. Richard finds himself feeling out of place where ever he is. The new house doesn't feel like his yet, although the young guy next door is happy to have him in the neighborhood. He feels a bit like he's intruding at the old house where the boys are living. And he loathes the condo where his wife lives. So he goes out for a drive. And picks up a hitchhiker. He knows it stupid. He knows it can be dangerous. And it gets him into all sorts of wet and sticky trouble. The kind of trouble he likes. He never thought he'd become like this. His desires are growing stronger every day. He's fighting it. He wants his simple old life back. But it's not that easy. The world is different. He's different. He's just a man. Under construction.
