In order to teach pupils the basics of arithmetic, a Japanese teacher came up with an idea to conduct exercises in a playful way similar to Sudoku. These exercises sparked so much excitement among the pupils that this game involving grids called Kendoku ended up having real success in all of Japan, followed by plenty of countries all around the globe!

Kendoku is an excellent method for sparking the children's interest to regularly practise arithmetic and develop the skill of the four basic operations: +, -, x and /. Solving the grids brings you a genuine satisfaction, motivates you to keep going and makes the practice of arithmetic extremely fun!

This book contains 100 grids of Kendoku which will offer children from the age of 6-10 a positive learning experience and will enable them to develop their knowledge of the basics of arithmetic, while having fun at the same time!
