Join Castlecat on his journey away from the comforts of his gothic beginnings, complete with castle and princess, through to his return to his own innocent origins. As all heroes must, Castlecat accepts his call to adventure, away from his castle comforts, in search of life's meaning. Upon discovery of his original feline way of life, Catlecat comes to understand sacrifice and prove himself the hero that residents of Catwood always knew he would be. Created in the 1960's, unearthed from the Mazey & Schell studio in 2019, this masterpiece was left behind, unpublished, after Schell's passing. The beauty of the artwork and sensitivity of the hero's journey represented by Castlecat's journey, deserve to be shared with today's children and parents, alike.
