Have we not, in any time in our lives, found ourselves in a situation emotionally distraught or spiritually vulnerable and cried out for the help of the Lord? We have cried out for his help and presence, for we have felt alone. This does not mean that we are alone, for he said he will never leave us alone and he will be with us until the end of time. But let us be sincere, what we feel and what actual is, are not always the same. The Lord is always with us and we are called to believe his Word. Our husbands, wives, children, friends and family cannot be with us all the time. They cannot take care of us, protect us nor guide us all the time, but the Lord can.
