As I walk through the doors in the SCU (Special Cases Unit) that they created in a separate part of the hospital, I can hear the screams of agony coming from so many of the rooms. These people were torn apart from their families, their jobs, their lives by one diabolical. There are nurses hectically scrambling all day long to settle, comfort and be there for these people whose families are searching for answers and not knowing where to find them. The doctors are frantically racing to find out what has caused this and the testing seems endless. They have consulted scientists and biochemists trying to find an antidote to counteract this catastrophe. Meanwhile, most of the world is glued to their television sets to hear the latest news. People everywhere are fearing for their own lives. There are still so many uncertainties about what has happened to so many people. Was it selective or random? Was it something they ate or drank and will it happen to them? Those were the questions so many people had and still no answers were provided. Police officers are on the move searching for any unusual happenings or suspicious persons hanging around heavily populated areas. They are looking for whatever they can find, all the while wondering, if even they could be the next victim. The world is in an uproar right now and until they find out whom or what is responsible, it will remain this way. I am Paul Wayner. It was not my intention to turn out this way but I am not to blame. Yes! What I did was evil, cruel and some would say selfish but it had to be done. Someone had to pay, God closed His eyes, so I had to do His job.
