Santa is not feeling well and won't be able to deliver gifts for the children. Santa sent letters telling everyone that he won't be able to deliver the presents. Fenimore, the main character in the story, isn't happy. His mother encouraged him not to worry. Fenimore is a kind little boy, and he wanted to make Santa feel better. He thought of a great idea to make Santa feel special. In the real world, we all like to feel special. I also wanted to show that sometimes giving can be rewarding.
