This is a working document that explains what the new term "Anomalogy" means and how to use it, words that should be used within our universal world of research, the explanation of subcultures-the good, the bad, and the ugly, and the direction needed to pursue in understanding of subcultures. Have you ever walked into a store for the first time, let's take for example: Greenland in Las Vegas, and found out that the store is not an American food store but an oriental food store. Within that store are all types of food i.e. Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and it goes on and on. So basically, you've walked into a grocery store that you're totally unfamiliar with and underneath that roof are a number of oriental cultural foods that you are totally unfamiliar with, let along you can't even read the labels. I've found out in the past few years having been a Field Investigator in Ufology for MUFON and now as an independent researcher, that this same thing happened to me in Ufology and that there is a smaller door to the subcultures all falling under Ufology. This is the way most folks are being taught first coming into this field that "Ufology is the Big Kahuna"...wrong! So to clear up a lot of confusion under this subculture, I will attempt to bring forth my interpretation of the subcultures and my version of where they stand, at least in my eyes. If that doesn't work then all of the so called experts can then get off of their derrieres' (many of them known as "Couch Investigators", "Computer Researchers", and of course the "Hoaxsters" (total losers), to move the discussion forward. Ufology is the study of UFOs and that's basically all they'll tell you, but it goes beyond that and we will talk more about that at length in Chapter 3: Is Ufology Misconceived. If you go to any Ufology gatherings all or parts of the subcultures i.e. Paranormal, Experiences, Cryptozoology, Supernatural, Spiritualism, Critical Thinking, New Age, Science and Philosophy, and take off's of religion; they are under the umbrella of Ufology. To use Ufology as the umbrella for all subcultures is unjustified, absolutely wrong, and incorrect. So this book is to clear up the record and give you readers, particularly for those who are new in the fields of Anomalogy, a defining basic explanation of primary anomaly subcultures with multilevel cultures underneath those.. . it's really quite simply in understanding! Within this writing I'll share new words, explain how and why they fit in to our subcultures, explain why we need to structure our subcultures under the umbrella of "Anomalogy", explain the history and terminology of anomalies, understand about the major subcultures on what they are and what they are not. Then we'll talk about the sub-subcultures (If there is such a word) or multi-levels, along with my side views. We are now talking about a study of "Anomalogy" for the 21st Century and it's time to move ahead.
