The Language of Plant Kingdom
Pritimoy Sanyal
The idea that only animals can express themselves in the living world is not correct. Almost all the members of the plant world can communicate with each other. From phytoplankton to bryophyte, pteridophyte, fungus, gymnosperm and angiosperm all speak to themselves or to each other. To express this idea, a huge network called Wood Wide Web or WWW has been formed under the ground for billions of years. Through this network, a plant can provide food for others even if they get hurt or are attacked by someone, they spread that information to everyone through this network. This language can be understood by insects or big animals. Sometimes the trees talk to each other through the air. This book is written about what their language is and the method by which they talk. All this information has been explained through modern science and computer science. Scientists have recently been studying the language of trees. So, it goes without saying that this book will be considered an important initiative in the field of applied science.
