This book is the fifth in the series for Paul, second in the series for Dillon. It continues on mainly from book four, with all the characters you've come to know and love from ALL the books. We left the last book with Dillon and Elizabeth unsure of what was to become of them, on the run from DHS and President Gloria Larson. Is the light shining in Acacia Park in Colorado Springs a type of "Shakina Glory?" and what will become of the Christians being held behind the City Limits by the Colorado National Guard? Are these really the end times? Are older Americans bring rounded up to be euthanized solely for the purpose of saving resources so the younger people can go on? What about God in all this? And the Angels who show up to lend a hand (and a sword) from time to time? I encourage you to find out in this second to last book based on the author's ideas of what the end times might look like.
