Do You Want to Be Perfect? Jennifer Aceret (Cover)

Rachel takes her readers on a journey of personal life experiences that have challenged her faith and eventually lead her to a fulfilling place in her walk with God. The book is a beautiful and vulnerable trek through intimate moments in her life that are relatable and honest. Every experience is paired with a scripture about perfection and thus unlocks Biblical truths that have transformed her life and strengthened her faith. The book starts with an honest frustration with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:48 "Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." As a perfectionist who spent so many years rejecting this idea of perfection to maintain her sanity, it is inspiring to witness her healing as she discovers that the perfection of the Lord is nothing like what many of us have made it out to be.
