Why does knowledge management can improve some organizations' employee performance to be better? Knowledge management is about developing, sharing and applying knowledge within the organization to gain a competitive advantage. It has argued that knowledge is dependent on people, and that HRM activities, such as recruitment and selection, education and development, performance management and pay/rewards as well as the creation of a learning culture are important for managing knowledge within organizations. However, knowledge is either explicit or implicit. In this classification, explicit knowledge is considered to be formal and objective, and can be numbers and specifications. It can therefore be transferred via formal and systematic methods in the form of rules, procedures. Otherwise, implicit knowledge is subjective, situational, and is tied to the knower's experience. This makes it difficult to formalize, document and communicate to others. Insights, personal beliefs and skills and using a rule to solve a complex problem are example of implicit knowlege, such as learning computer software designing knowledge is one kind of implicit knowledge. So, implicit knowledge can be shared in relational situations, such as mentorships, and coaching and through in-house trainings, where experienced employees are encouraged to share their experiences with their colleagees. In one organization, knowledge management is needed to let its employee to understand such as: what an organization knows, the location of knowledge, e.g. in the mind of a expert, e.g. computer software designing trainer in a specific computer software designing department, in old files' records, with a specific team etc. in what form this knowledge is stored, in the minds of experts, such as one computer software designing company's computer software designing trainers' minds, on paper, in notes of how to write the kind of computer software programme, how to best transfer this knowledge to the relevant people, e.g. the computer software designing trainees in order to take advantage of it and ensure that it is not lost, e.g. the kind of computer software designing skill and the need to methodically assess the organization's actual know-how versus the organiation's needs and to act accordingly, e.g. how to select to hire the most suitable employee to do the position, or how to follow the rules to promote specific in-house knowledge creation. Thus, knowledge management is useful or helping to any organization's employee skillful development because it focuses on knowledge as an actual asset, rather than as something intangible. If the organization can transfer its any knowledge to be actual asset, it enables an organization to better protect and exploit what it knows, and to improve and focus its knowledge-development efforts to match its needs. I shall indicate computer software product manufacturing industry, knowledge management is important to influence the computer software company's software sale number. For example, computer software design industy, any computer software design organization ought need have good knowledge management strategy to improve its computer software designing programmer individual skill level to be upgraded in order to raise their every one computer software design programme skill.
