Sofía wakes on a deserted beach in La Peninsula. She doesn't know where she is, how she got there, nor where her mother is. All she does know is that she is not in Argentina anymore. Her aggressive father refuses to explain their isolated existence. At night, veiled figures begin to silently stalk the cottage and as La Peninsula closes in - her father's dark secret threatens to escape. To distract herself from her fears, Sofía reads books from the cottage's bookcase in which she discovers an enigma that reveals a subterranean passage. Sofía's only hope of finding the truth lies through the bookcase. Little does she know, the answers she seeks will come with a price. She uncovers a world of devastating subterfuge, danger and truths more uncomfortable than even her fevered mind could conjure. In the end, deciding who to trust will mean life or death.
