If you thought 2020 was a terrible year, here's someone who hasn't had a good one in a while. Over the last twelve years, a certain Christmas icon has ranted, raved, and grumbled while still delivering a magical holiday without fail. Join Santa as he fights every misfortune from accidents and bureaucracy to arrest warrants and assassins; all while despairing at the human condition and the disturbing new trends that each year brings. Accompanied by the faithful (if occasionally snide) Rudolph, a slew of fantastically confused elves, and a supporting cast of polar bears, sharks, bureaucrats and other wildlife, each year is a new story. Let's explore it together and find laughter in the thankless task of making Christmas work. Author's note: Since 2008, I've been writing these poems for colleagues, friends, family, and random people who might now regret sharing their email addresses. I wanted to create this illustrated compilation as I believe everyone could use a laugh after this year. My original intention was to find a platform where people could pick up the book for free and then donate to charity if so inclined. Since I couldn't figure out how to do that (Yes, I did perhaps give up too quickly, but then I'm not really that nice of a person), I settled on doing a giveaway around Christmas.
