Here I go again, oscillating from titillation to torture: first from the creation of my story, book, movie, play or into whatever it morphs, then the overture and now the cover letter. I must just put down and let it go. There will more than likely be yeahs and neahs, no matter how much one obsesses. I feel the Catholic faith has saved me and my family, and for that reason I am given the Catholic press the first seat at the baptismal font to make my work public. I was told by a Catholic publishing company to send an intro of your work to the editor and they will get back to you. So, after 30 years or more, I am shucking the shell off my pearl of wisdom, which was formed by the coming and going of the stress of living the way I live. Why did it come about now; the putting it to paper? Was I avoiding the pain of production? Was it humility and/or laziness? Whatever it was I felt selfish keeping my life to myself. I had to share my story and hopefully lessen undo suffering for my family and others who may cross my path.
