Nolan Scott was what you called the modern-day Grinch. Set in his ways, he doesn't care about anyone outside of himself. But he wasn't always this way. There used to be a light that shined so bright in his eyes that you couldn't miss it even if you were blind. Unfortunately, one tragic event snatched that away from him along with the two people that helped mold him into the strong king he forgot was. Tragedy, heartache, and pain became all too familiar with Nolan, and no one, not even his best friend could pull him away from it. But what happens when he finds light in the last person he expected. Jehlani Wilson, one-half of J& J Designs is the epitome of Christmas. With one goal in mind, she sets out with her sister to snag the one event that seemed to always elude her year after year. But after nailing the meeting she soon learns that everything that seems bright is often cold and dark. Will she be able to pull off the event of the year and bring not only the light back to this year's gala but the modern Grinch himself. Or will the hot and cold nature of Nolan throw her off for good?When it comes to Christmas you never know what magic lies around every corner.
