This book is written to arouse interest in reading the word of God and understanding it. The word of God is so shallow that a shepherd can read it and understand it, yet it is also so deep that the most educated persons among us can drown. The lessons in this book are only a tiny little drop in the ocean of lessons that can be derived from those very verses quoted in this book and the lessons in the Bible. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 3: 16-17: All scripture is givenby inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. It is therefore important to read the word of God and apply it in our daily lives.
