Chasing Something follows the lives of five friends from a local high school in Pennsylvania. There is sweet, beautiful Tammy, the glue that keeps them together; Autumn, a quick-talking blonde with a secret or two; Natalie, a Latina fighting for normalcy in her broken home; Nick, a love sick boy with something to prove; and the indignant, fifth wheel, Neena, who is incapable of distinguishing fact from reality. Each with a problem of their own, their relationships deepen and faultier as three of them make their way to NYU, the other two choosing their own kind of love back home. But their lives never untwine, as death begins to pop up in unexpected places.
