Once upon a time there was a God who always had the same disturbing dream and which was about the meaning of the magic number 42. This is a story of an adventure that once and for all solves the mystery of this magic and enigmatic number 42, a number that has been discussed by many great philosophers throughout the centuries. The main character Connie, is accompanied by a tame crow called Squawky and a dog called Jack. She discovers a rather special book called "The Book of Eternal Wonder" and this guides her on her amazing journeys around the world as she tries to find the meaning and the solution to the dream. In the story you will meet many enchanting characters including Professor BeeVee, Cedrik Hargreaves a Bactrian Camel, Harry the bandit and the good ship "The Filthy Falcon", the fastest ship afloat. Connie travels the world seeking a solution to the dream and is helped by many other colourful characters that she meets on the way. Connie eventually finds the answer to the Dream 42 with its many surprises for the reader, allowing the Gods to save the world for all mankind. In the end Connie falls in love with a wealthy prince from Baghdad called Sinbad and they live happily ever after..
