This tale follows the life of a reclusive and unsociable boy, who also happens to be a wizard. His realm is one which runs parallel to that of Victorian England, and which will continue to run thus in the foreseeable future -- manipulated only by those skilled in Parallel Arts. Adler has spent many years studying these ancient invisible auras at Oxbury academy, believing that he would also spend his remaining adult life there as a professor of Quantum Transcendental Mechanics, until a certain haughty young nobleman sets him on a dark and wayward path of crime, intrigue and motherhood.
