Qualitative research narratives of battling the breast cancer disease, nine survivors were not given a choice in this battle. The breast cancer battle invaded, exploited, and altered the lives, health, privacy, and time of the warriors and their families. This devastating disease disrespected the needs of their homes and disregarded the desires that were etched in their hearts. Breast cancer wreaked havoc in the comfort zones of these warriors. In One Out of Eight: Warriors, nine survivors sketched their journeys through breast cancer by means of questionnaire and interview methods. I invite you to live vicariously through the lives of nine warriors who were undergirded with divine healing, medical treatments, family, and an ecclesiastical staff.
