As the Nazi regime falls to invading Allied armies, infamous SS General Heinrich "Gestapo" Müller escapes with the help of a concentration camp inmate psychiatrist. But a former US Army intelligence officer, Tom Junger, is in pursuit-not to arrest him, but to kill him. Tom must deceive not only a small group of Jewish supporters, who want Müller brought to Nuremberg for trial, but also his beautiful partner, who he suspects is a British spy after Müller's NKVD-Soviet double agent files. Tom must track down Müller, using the Nazi "ratlines" before former Gestapo agents stop him dead.
