Driftwood is an annual anthology produced by The Scribblers of Brevard. The book is filled with short stories, anecdotes, essays, memoirs and poetry, by some of the finest writers in Brevard County, Florida. Every year all interested writers in the county are invited to submit their works to be judged by literary professionals. Only those entries that earn top scores are included in the anthology. Artists and photographers submit their highest quality work as well. Driftwood draws together an eclectic range of writings whose contributing authors live in Brevard County, Florida now but have come from far-flung places across both America and the wider world. Their experiences and observations add an exciting dimension to fiction and non-fiction on familiar themes of life, love, people, family and friendship in the Sunshine State.
