In our world, especially in 2020, there have been some trying moments. Should we be shocked or surprised? In Book III of this four book series the culmination of faith, hearing, and what others see is explored. It is not very eloquent, politically correct, nor theologically rendered. However, what this book is, is a blunt measuring tool of Christian progress from the calling forth of the Body of Christ to our presentation of church activities. Some would say that the book acts as a mirror, some just one person's opinion, and others a challenge to the truth. The challenge of this book is to explore the past in order to accept the present, and therefore be somewhat prepared for the future. Consequently, readers should prepare themselves for a journey touching the past, present, and future. The past will be the presentation of mostly background and introductory information, yet not necessarily in any given order. The present should appear as the examination of the verses associated with Matthew sixteen as they related to then or the disciples and their plight. The future should be disclosed as the examination of the scriptures (some outside of Matthew sixteen) as they relate or point to today or our plight today and beyond 2020. Lastly, examine the only hope for a world that must depend on Christians to survive the future. So, strap in and prepare for somethings new (but not new), somethings old, and somethings unusual.
