A Coming of Age Story (Picture Book) Rahnail Jones, a shy sixth-grader, is truly infatuated with Shaunda. He considers her his "dream girl", and truly wants to ask her out; however, he is too afraid that she will turn him down until the perfect storm descended. One night, the sixth-graders from P. S. 92 were holding a dance at the Community Center. Rahnail knew Shaunda would be there, and only two things were on his mind: to dance with her and ask her out. That night at the party, his best friend Sean advises Rahnail to stay alert and be ready for when Shaunda arrives. Will Rahnail overcome his shyness, dance with Shaunda, and finally get to ask her out?
