Come along with our library lady as she connects, book by book, with the incarcerated folks of our two county jails. Revealed on her first day that the library itself is off limits to the in-mates, she brings reading materials directly to them in their units, via a library cart. You'll not only see the value of the old, out-of-date books that make up our second-chance library, but you'll also meet the mates-fascinating and good-hearted for the most part. They connect with kindness, books, and each other in these true encounters.
