Don't Let Your Disability Define You
Beth Casey
Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. They can come at birth, because of an accident, due to advancing age, or completely out of the blue. Whatever the cause, you and your loved ones will be faced with a "new normal". To find your way through this "new normal". Don't Let Your Disability Define You is a journal I've created to record the rollercoaster of emotions, the victories, as well as the setbacks that will accompany your journey through this "new normal". To the newly disabled individual, I share this wisdom with you. You are a person with a disability, NOT a "disabled person", I speak from experience. I was born 59 years ago with spina bifida and have lived my life from a wheelchair since I was eighteen months old.
