When the CIA uncovered what they believed could be a smuggling operation to weapons or personnel into Mexico, they needed physical proof. What better to hunt the smugglers than to embed a few of their people into a pipeline construction crew working in the area. The bonus was Brock VanMarter, retired Navy SEAL who now worked for the construction company. An added bonus was Sonja Paz, the Mossad-trained spy, assassin, and sniper who was also Brock's part-time girlfriend and keeper of his house in Mérida, Yucatán State. But there was a problem. Sonja was pregnant and could only participate in a limited capacity. Then, while in Cancún with her new fiancé, Sonja and five American girls were abducted and Sonja's fiancé murdered. Now Brock has a dual problem-first, find and rescue Sonja, then help the CIA.
