When completed, the images will resemble colored charcoal line sketches. From relatively simple images such as a windmill or a lighthouse, to complex line drawings of mountain scenes and a yacht in a harbour, there are sure to be images that test your skill.


All of the images are black and white line drawings in landscape format (turn the book 90 degrees clockwise, so that the spine is to the top). The images are all printed single sided as a precaution in case your coloring material bleeds through a page and destroys any image on the reverse. It also means that you can cut out a page so that you may frame your new masterpiece, without losing the image on the reverse of a page.


You can color using your preferred coloring media - pencils, crayons, pen, chalk, gel pens, markers, watercolor paint, etc. Just be aware that any liquid media may bleed through the paper. You should, therefore, protect the next image by placing a protective layer of paper or thin card between pages.


Alternatively remove the page from the book with scissors or a utility knife, before coloring. For your reference, all the original images are printed in full color on the cover of the book. You can, of course, decide to enhance the images by using your own unique color scheme.
