It was supposed to be just another town. It was just supposed to be the usual mercenary work. Instead Axia, a mercenary with a mysterious past, found herself taking on far more than she bargained for. The town of Rinstar was just like any other but it held a secret that promised only pain to those who discovered it. Axia wandered into Rinstar simply to make money only to gain the attention of the town's leader and protector Jack much as she would come to regret. But regret was not all Axia would discover in Rinstar, there was also violence, love, pain, and worse. All of these would combine to force Axia along a path she will bitterly struggle get off of. But life can be cold and cruel and Axia will be forced to learn this before the path will let her go. If it lets her go. Witness Axia's journey as what starts as something ordinary devolves into something dark and murderous. A journey which will change things forever both for Axia and Rinstar.
