The Parisian Connection
Michel Kadoch
David York, a professor of engineering, took a sabbatical year away from his hometown, Montreal. A French professor invited him to spend some time in Paris to collaborate on a research project. During his stay, he crossed the path of members of an organization opposed to the mullah regime in Iran. He sympathizes with members of this association but then finds himself in dangerous situations. He nevertheless puts his efforts and resources in helping young Iranians in difficulties. He never expected to cross the path of his nemesis Ahmad, an Iranian spy who promised himself to eliminate David. Living a passionate love affair, he is vulnerable to the danger he faces. He uncovered spying activities, and with the help of his friends and his girlfriend, he tries to prevent smuggling top-secret nuclear information. Throughout the novel, David gets himself deeper into trouble and tries to emerge safe, but with Ahmad's evil plan, will he survive his ordeal?
