Have you ever walked up to a piece of artwork and when you thought you knew what it was, the description told a different story? Poetry possesses the same attributes only in written form. Do not speed through these poems, it will garble your mind and won't make a lick of sense. Each poem has indents, spaces, commas and periods for a reason. In your mind, follow the road map you're reading and allow it to paint a picture for you. Believe me; the image you get will be different from the image in my mind when I wrote it - that's what it is supposed to do! No specific idea is correct and if you read it over again after a period of time, it might just paint a different image for you. Go with it, allow it to flow and just enjoy it!
