The purpose of this discourse is to bear light of the truth in the abundance of scriptures from the New King James Version of the Holy Bible and to show that in many ways the truth is enshrined in our religious practices and observances while we seem to remain oblivious to its import. That we were created in the image and likeness of God is indisputable in Christianity. Therefore, whatever God is, we were created to be. The Holy Bible also bears this out with many incontrovertible proofs, some of which will be clearly highlighted and discussed. My prayer and hope is, that understanding will be had by this discourse, and our lives will be adjusted to fit into God's will and purpose, and not us trying to fit God into our will and purpose, as is so often the case. For when we look into God's perfect law of liberty we are beholding as in a mirror the glory of God and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. His truth therefore, is a mirror that images who we really are. What do we see when we look into a mirror? May we look long and deep into that mirror so that we may be fully transformed and be found conformed to His image and likeness, for that is His will for us.
