Tom Stroud, an aircraft enthusiast, restorer and historian, is gifted a mysterious box of old documents. Amongst them are the notes and diaries of Nikola Tesla, missing since his death in 1943. These notes appear to detail the design of his system to harness electricity from the ionosphere and transmit it anywhere in the World. Any organisation or government with this capability could effectively hold the World to ransom. One such organisation is GES who need these documents to finalise their own design. Tom and his partner, Detective Inspector Claire Owens, are embroiled in a chase around the World to stop GES with assistance from the British SBS and the US Government.
