Kristie Jones is the sixteen year old daughter who finds herself having to move with her family to the other side of the country leaving all her friends behind, so her dad can realize his dream of being head of a strict Baptist college. When the Joneses settle in, they realize they're living literally on the other side of the street from the doomed non-Baptists, not surrounded by just "their kind." What happens when the Jones children become entwined with the "worldly" family across the street? And what does Dad do when he finds out what Kristie's been sharing with the "unsaved" son?
