My family has always been a covey of Storytellers. This is probably our greatest gift; it is the ability to relate to anyone who will listen to the tales of our life and our families. These are the stories of our life that we must pass onto our children and grandchildren. Amanda G Steepleton convinced me to do Story Corp a few years back. During that 40-minute interview, we recorded several stories about the family. The recording is now part of the Oral History Department of the National Archives. That has motivated me to write down the Stories of My Life. I dedicated this work of nonfiction in memory of Jerry, The Master, the real Big Fish.
