A way can be found in the darkness is a memoir written in dated format. The writer tells of her journey as her heart changes from being fearful at a cancer diagnosis, to being fearless of the same disease. As she makes the transformation her faith in God increases and she learns how and why she has to believe him. Her prayer life gets stronger as the love for her fellow man grows. Living without God is a depressing state to be in and she learns to live with him and not against him.
