The natives of Skootlnd, Irlnd and the country formerly-known- as-Wails are jubilant to be independent of the bloody Inglsh. Victory for Gouts and Inglnd's governing Hang `em and Flog `em party seems inevitable as the great Inglsh public is blissfully indifferent to the consequences of union with Yoorup. Nothing should go wrong; the bribes are ready, the opinion poll is fixed. And then the strange, Lost Village of HtnmWytht, contented and obscure deep in the woods of County Cant, is threatened with a new highway. Famed for the bovine stupidity of its populace, Htnm also has the world's worst pub and a secret establishment where government secrets are buried. What is doesn't want is a road.
