Journeys of the Meaningless

In the declining remnants of civilization, humans still find comfort on the ill maintained internet. For at least a few more years, satellites allow communication between those living in the affluence of the ascending East, and those in the dregs of North America. A strange assortment of folk from both places are brought together by their differences and stories they share every so often. Interwoven throughout each of the 12 tales are questions of life and liberty, love and apathy, and the small happinesses which permeate human suffering. The characters tell flawed stories, put forth illogical arguments, and present false ideals. Their truth and falsities of reality flash briefly, brightly, and sometimes, maybe, beautifully as the world of the Enlightenment gasps its dying breath.
