Joe Finacetti is a single father and a widower living in midtown Manhattan. When his addict neighbor frames him for a crime he didn't do, he suddenly finds himself in a predicament, he has a record and can no longer work as a teacher. Distraught over how to provide for his son, he finds himself looking for answers at a local dive bar where he meets a woman who is confident, smart, and sassy; Cinda, the daughter of a local mob boss. She explains that everyone cheats because the system is unfair and can see he is trustworthy. She introduces him to her father who has a black eye, stitches and is very irritated. He has just found out that his most trusted man was selling information to a local gang who intercepted their shipment. He now has unpaid debts and needs to find a way to pay them because the suppliers are now threatening his daughter's life. Joe sees he has the opportunity to pay his rent, feed his son, and save someone's life, plus he feels there is something special about this woman. It's too bad her father starts their conversations by threatening Joe's life if he so much as looks at her. Now he has a choice, will he save the girl, get the money, and become a hitman? And can he resist his urge to pursue this woman who is off-limits? He is asked to eliminate the gang leader and recover the product which is now in the Caribbean Islands. His first job means flying to Turks and Caicos with Cinda on her father's private plane. What could possibly go wrong?
