Schizophrenia
Elsie Regina Strong
Elsie Strong has been a caregiver for over 30 years. She began when a neighbor who was a private duty nurse asked her to fill in for her on weekends, and holidays. That experience lasted for years, and was both valuable and fulfilling. After that she cared for her mother who was paralyzed as a result of a stroke. Then for nearly 10 years she cared for her cousin who had Alzheimer's disease. When her son Williejason Terrell Strong was diagnosed with schizophrenia disease she stepped in, and with the diligent help from his brother they cared for him. Nothing that they have done would have had an inkling of the marvelous results of Williejason's condition without God, and the determination that he himself had. He is determined, steadfast in his efforts, and very positive about going on with his life, and not letting this disease define who he is.
