In this book I describe times in which we faced a variety of choices that were almost as diversified as the times in which they occurred. One forced choice occurred soon after my ninth birthday. In the first chapter I provide the background that led to such a choice. It seemed appropriate that I follow the same pattern in each of the chapters under a variety of pressures. However, the presence of a lifelong faith in Jesus, who has loved me and kept every promise He has ever made to me, remains the best choice of my life.
