As she and her partner, Jed, investigate, there are also smaller crimes being committed, and personal issues to resolve. This small town murder mystery will keep you guessing as to who did the murder, as Julie delves into the slain woman's personal life. This book is a follow on from Peter's previous publication, Stone Dead in Rio Vista, and many of the same characters remain. Peter writes in a unique style, that is both engaging and engrossing.
