This is the first children's picture book biography of coaching great Tom Landry. Once an all-pro player, he began coaching in the 1950s as an assistant with the New York Giants. He then accepted the position of head coach when the Dallas Cowboys were born. For 29 years, Landry was always a presence on the sidelines, winning two Super Bowls, and compiling 20 consecutive winning seasons. At long last, Landry is given his due, as young children who were not born when Landry died is finally given the opportunity to learn of this amazing football genius.
