In our lives, we have many moments. Some are the happiest and some are the hardest. People find different ways to cope with each moment; music, hanging with friends, art, or even putting their face in a pillow and screaming. Mine is writing. My parents told me that from the time I began writing, I never went anywhere without a pen and paper in hand. This collection shows different moments in time. From the happiest; childhood memories, meeting my husband, the birth of my beautiful children. To the hardest; death, postpartum and situational depression/anxiety, and learning how to navigate Autism. Every piece of this book shows that you can make it through different points of life if you have the proper support and coping mechanisms. If just one of these poems helps someone and shows them they are not alone, that means everything.
