When I chose "The Lone Wolf" as a title for my collection of "wolf inspired" prose, my thinking was this: * Drawing parallels between the predator wolf, the lone wolf, the Alpha wolf, and the Alpha Personality in man, highlighting the traits that unite yet define each. * We are individuals, ergo "lone"* We are honor-bound, loyal, loving, and fierce, ergo "wolf"* We embody traits that protect, teach, and love our Pack, ergo "Alpha"* We generally mate for life, in our heart of hearts, and in our soul* Man and wolf are the upper echelon of beasts with an honor code and react similarly to any threat or breach. We are one * We are lone * We are Alpha * We are Alpha Wolves
